Legal Policies
In what follows, “you” are the person receiving the services of, and a “visitor” to, the website provided by Greenboks Education (or “us” or “we”). The “website” refers to the pages found within the www.greenboks-education.com domain name. Because we are lawyers and experienced business people, we understand the legal and practical issues involved in running the website and the part of our business that is conducted online. What follows below are our main “legal policies”, which we are required by various laws to publish and make available to you and the wider public. We encourage you to read these carefully. To help with this as much as possible, we have tried to keep the legal language (or “legalese”) to a bare minimum so that you can better understand your position and how we, for instance, protect your rights, your information and your identity. Naturally, the following also details various forms of protection for us. The overriding idea is to operate according to a fair set of rights and obligations.
If there are any aspects with which you require further explanation, simply contact us.
Our policies can be broadly classified as follows:
1. Our terms and conditions: the relationship we have with you
2. Our ownership rights: the things in our site and in our documents
3. Your information: how we protect your data and identity
1. Our terms and conditions
General
The purpose here is to outline the rights and obligations that you and we share when we enter into an “agreement” with each other. The agreement relates to the services we provide in our capacity as Greenboks Education.
For our part, we agree to provide services to you as requested; for your part, you agree to pay for services provided. Both parties (you and us) enter relations in good faith, both parties agree to act in a fair and reasonable manner, and both parties shall as far as possible act according to the instructions and arrangements agreed.
For any activity relating to our STUDY IN DENMARK or Business Proofreading content and services, as well as any courses provided, the legal relations to apply will be established separately. Unless otherwise stated, these other legal relations are not affected by the legal information stated on this website.
E-mailing and contact with you direct
“Our terms and conditions” outlined here will be added to by e-mail messages between you and us, and possibly oral conversations. While oral agreements are usually valid in law, it is best for the integrity of the agreement if there is a written record of what was agreed; of what was said. Thus, in our e-mails with you we will relate our services to things like price, delivery, level of service, and any other relevant conditions. This may often involve an attached .pdf. E-mails and .pdfs are part of the agreement between both parties.
Together with these written pages, our communications with you will form the basis of the offer, acceptance and conclusion of the terms and conditions of our agreement. You agree to read any such materials carefully and contact us if you do not understand what we have written or said to you.
All of this means that our agreement with you is made up of these pages you are currently reading, plus the details we agree to with you directly. We also rely on the usual trade usage for the provision on online services.
Complaints, etc.
If you feel there are grounds for complaint relating to the services and products you receive from us, you must do so in writing within 28 days after receipt of said service or product. It is best to do this via e-mail. This time limit and format means we are able to respond quickly to your concerns.
You should title your e-mail “Complaint”.
Upon receiving such a written complaint, we will then contact you as soon as possible to acknowledge your complaint and to work out how to proceed.
Scope of our services and products
We guarantee the integrity and quality of our services and products. Thus, while we will provide the best level of service we can and no doubt this will enhance the activity in hand, the service or product we provide does not guarantee a certain grade, an interview, employment following a job application, and so on.
In legalese, this means that Greenboks Education assumes no liability towards you for such subsequent events. We are not, in any event, liable for any indirect or consequential losses that flow from your use of such services or products, including loss on reputation and any operations, profits, or job opportunities to you or any third party. This limitation of our liability also covers any additional expenses you have for re-taking or re-submitting papers and exams, etc. that you have taken.
Reservations for any typographical errors, etc
We makes reservations for typographical errors and picture errors, sold-out situations, changes in value added tax and duty rates, and late or defective delivery due to force majeure events or any unforeseen instances.
Invalidity
Should any part of the agreement be deemed unlawful and invalid and thus not enforceable, this will not affect the validity and enforcement of the remainder of the agreement.
Applicable law
Unless determined in mandatory legal provisions, all purchases and disputes in connection with the agreement, including complaints, are subject to Danish law.
All efforts will be made to resolve any conflict in an amicable manner, such as the use of mediation.
However, in the event of any legal action, this is to be filed at the venue of Greenboks Education and subject to Danish Law.
